The shingles vaccine is important because it lowers your chance of getting shingles, a painful rash that can cause serious problems like long-lasting nerve pain. It keeps older adults and people with weaker immune systems healthier and more comfortable.

Shingles vaccination service - all you need to know

  • The shingles vaccine is available for you if you are 50 years or older, or if you are over 18 and are increased risk of getting shingles.

  • If you are over 50 and immunosuppressed due to illness or medication, you can get this vaccine on the NHS.

    If you are over 65 you also qualify for the shingles vaccine as part of the NHS immunisation schedule.

  • Our shingles vaccination is £230 per dose and you will need 2 doses.
