Meningitis B vaccination
Meningitis B spreads quickly through close contact and can have severe, sometimes fatal consequences. Our vaccination service helps protect you wherever you are, including in nurseries, schools, and universities.
Meningitis B service - all you need to know
-
If you are concerned about Meningitis B, and you are between 2 - 64 years old.
You may qualify for the NHS vaccination, which we can provide as well.
However if you are not the right age, or do not qualify, have missed a dose of the NHS vaccination or prefer to access it privately, we can supply the vaccination to you. -
When you arrive, a trained clinician will carry out a short consultation to confirm the vaccine is suitable for you. They will ask about your medical history, allergies, and any current medications.
Once everything is confirmed, the vaccine will be given as a quick injection, usually into the upper arm.
Afterward, you’ll be asked to stay in the pharmacy for around 15 minutes so we can make sure you feel well before leaving.
We’ll also provide aftercare advice and answer any questions you may have about the vaccination.
-
This vaccine costs £110 per dose, and you may need 2 or 3 doses.
